Energy Park in Tbilisi Zoo
Tbilisi Zoo has been upgraded recently and  now every condition is provided for the visitors  to enjoy being in flora and fauna  altogether. Agreement between Tbilisi Zoo Administration and NGO EcoVision was made on establishment of Energy Park on the territory of the Zoo under the SPARE Project on March 2009.

Tbilisi Zoo has about 1 million visitors annually! 
The initial goal of the Project is to raise awareness of Georgia population on effective and safe usage of energy, as well as to improve access to renewable energy sources through  provision of practical information about alternative energy resources.
Education Center for school children has been already operating in Tbilisi Zoo.

According to above mentioned agreements special lectures are dedicated to climate change, energy efficiency and energy saving issues at Zoo education center.
The following energy effective devises were installed on special sites:
Biogas devise (near elephant)
Solar Collector
Solar Panel
Solar Kitchen
Explanation sheets are installed near devises.
Explanation posters are installed next to all energy effective devises.
