Stakeholder meetings were carried out in Racha-Lechkum-Kvemo Svaneti region (Oni and Ambrolauri) under the project "Clean Up Georgia – Raising of Public Awareness and Involvement in Solid Waste Management Improvement" on 17-18 Januari, 2011.
The meetings were organized by NGO Consortium - Greens Movement of Georgia/Friends of the Earth Georgia and EcoVision – The Union for Sustainable Development.Local government representatives, local NGOs and general public attended the meetings.
Waste related problems in the region were discussed at the meeting. The participants received information on "Clean Up Georgia Project", advanced methods of waste management and best international practices. The meetings generated great interest of local population

Stakeholder meetings were carried out in Samegrelo region (Zugdidi and Khobi) under the project "Clean Up Georgia – Raising of Public Awareness and Involvement in Solid Waste Management Improvement" on 24-25 December, 2010.

he SPARE Caucasus Regional Seminar was held in the Hotel Kolkhida, Ureki Georgia on 24-27 September 2010. The meeting was organized by Union for Sustainable Development EcoVison and supported by the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature. Teachers from Armenia Azerbaijan and Georgia attended the seminar.
The purpose of the regional meeting was:
- To strengthen regional cooperation between SPARE schools in South Caucasus region
- To exchange of experience on conducting of practical lessons on energy saving
